Although I first want to modify some SDCs and LDCs will come later, I already got myself some LDCs which I could not resist buying.
Devine BM-600 (= ISK BM-600): just as the T.bone SC140, this is a very versatile microphone. It’s a multi-pattern LDC with good value for money. This is probably the first LDC I will work on after the SDCs.
DAP Audio CM-67: the name suggests it is based on a K67 style capsule. According to recordinghacks.com, of all chinese LDC clones the K67 style capsules are the best appreciated. So I wanted to give this one a try as well, especially because it comes cheap and can be had for less than €70. So even if it would sound disappointing, it still makes a cheap donor body for a new capsule and electronics.
AKG P120: For the same reason I chose the AKG P170, I chose this LDC as one of my future modification projects.
